Best Western Plus Waterville Grand Hotel

My girlfriend and I have stayed here multiple times and we will always choose Best Western when getting a hotel in the Waterville area. The rooms are always very clean and that goes for all of the linens and everything else. The staff is ALWAYS eager to help with any issues or concerns and very friendly! The free breakfast is top notch. The pool and pool area are always well maintained and the heated pool is great on a cold night. For the great price of the room, the list of amenities is much better than one would expect. Thanks Best Western for continuing to keep these return customers very happy!!!

I was very happy with my 2 night stay. We came to see Acadia NP and the hotels in Bangor were to high priced and further then I could drive on my way in, so I chose Waterville. All I ask for is Clean, comfortable, quiet, safe and affordable. I got all of those and a very delicious breakfast both mornings in the hotel restaurant. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming.

When traveling for long periods of time, all I want is a clean, affordable, and safe hotel where I can feel comfortable after work. This hotel offers that and more. It may not be "super fancy," but it is exceptionally maintained and reliable. ​My room was perfect for a working traveler, featuring two comfortable beds, a desk to get work done, a mini-fridge, and a microwave. I also really appreciated the complementary hot breakfast included with my stay—it consisted of eggs, breakfast meat, toast, home fries, coffee, and juice. It was more than enough to start the day right! ​The amenities here are a standout feature. I visited the fitness area and the large, heated indoor pool, which was excellent. While there, I met Amy, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We chatted for a while, and she explained that many locals actually purchase memberships or day passes to enjoy the pool. I think this is a fantastic concept and so beneficial for the community during their long winters. ​Between the great amenities, the friendly staff, and the convenient location near I-95 and local shops, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s the perfect choice for anyone who wants a safe, clean place to stay without compromising on affordability.

Ladies at front desk were a 10 star.the wait staff dinner, slow and wearing old messy clothes with crocks .food was ok.hamburer well cooked but bun was soggy. The lady at front desk went beyond her duty trying to find us a ride.good mini vacation.

We have stayed at 3 Best Westerns so far and the pool here definitely tops the other two! It’s bigger and warmer however it goes up to over 8 ft and some of the rules are ridiculous! No jumping in, and no ball playing. The hotel as being g as it is has no snack machines. The free breakfast was pretty good but the drinks are in a tiny glass and if you want to add to your plate ect it cost out of pocket. The pancakes were very fluffy. The male worker was very nice. Everything is close by including Walmart and over all this was a pretty good hotel.

Pet friendly with no fee! When we first arrived we thought maybe a little sketchy from outside appearance but once entering we were pleasantly surprised. Check in area, rooms, and restaurant/bar were very nice. Parking in rear. Priced well. Breakfast voucher for three made to order breakfast options. We will return.

Stayed 1 night, room was average for what money we paid. Quiet on the 3rd floor. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was helpful when asked questions. Did not use pool or other amenities. Beds comfortable. Weird the coffee maker in bathroom. Does not seem sanitary at all. Only 2 large thin towel, 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels. Other hotels offer more then that.

My kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast, both were included. This is a pretty standard off of the highway hotel. AC worked well, beds were comfy, my son loves the blankets. The front desk lady was polite and helpful. Check in took about 30 seconds.
